Seminar Evidence-Based Maintenance for Medical Equipment

I had the great pleasure of being invited to the University of Calabria by Professor Pierangelo Veltri to deliver a lecture titled “Evidence-Based Maintenance for Medical Devices”. It was a rewarding opportunity to share insights and engage in thought-provoking discussions with faculty members, researchers, and students deeply committed to innovation in biomedical engineering.

What truly struck me during my visit was the high caliber of Prof. Veltri’s research team. Their professionalism, curiosity, and technical expertise were remarkable, and it was inspiring to witness such a vibrant and collaborative academic environment.

Beyond the academic setting, I was equally impressed by the beauty of the university campus—modern, well-organized, and immersed in nature. The city of Cosenza offered a unique blend of history, culture, and warmth, making my stay even more enjoyable. A highlight of the trip was the breathtaking Altopiano della Sila, whose natural beauty left a lasting impression.

I am sincerely grateful for the warm welcome and the enriching exchange of ideas. Experiences like these reinforce the importance of academic collaboration and the value of bridging theory with practice in our field.
