The Bioengineering Lab is proud to announce that PhD Candidate Ali Salman has been awarded a prestigious travel grant to attend the 2026 Conference on Health, Inference, and Learning (CHIL) Doctoral Symposium, taking place from June 28–30 at the Seattle Children's Research Institute in Seattle, Washington.This upcoming symposium represents a major milestone for Ali, serving as the final and most critical platform to present a key portion of his doctoral research before transitioning to writing his PhD thesis. The work to be presented is the culmination of collaborative efforts alongside fellow labmates and under the guidance of our Lab Director, Ernesto Iadanza.The travel grant will support Ali’s journey to Seattle, providing a valuable opportunity to engage with the global health AI research community, share the lab's latest bioengineering advancements, and receive vital feedback from leading experts in the field.
